Who can join

Buyer's Edge is a free benefit offered through participating unions and organizations. To create an account you need a valid access code from your organization, and you must be a member of that organization or a member of their household. If your membership ends, your access to member pricing may end with it.

Your account

• Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
• Your account is for you and your household. Do not share your login or your organization's access code outside it.
• Keep your password confidential. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
• You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

What Buyer's Edge does, and does not, do

For over forty years we have negotiated pricing with vendors on behalf of member families. We introduce you to those vendors and to the pricing we have arranged.

We are not the seller. We do not supply the products or services, take payment for them, or deliver them. Any purchase, contract, warranty, delivery, or service is strictly between you and the vendor, on their terms. We are not responsible for the quality, timing, or outcome of what a vendor provides, though we always want to hear from you if a vendor falls short.

Offers and pricing

Benefits, vendors, and offers change over time. Pricing shown on the service is provided by vendors and may change, sell out, or carry conditions set by the vendor, such as a region they serve or a minimum purchase. We work to keep listings accurate but we cannot guarantee every listing is current at the moment you view it.

120% Low Price Guarantee

Where the 120% Low Price Guarantee applies, it is offered on the terms published with the relevant benefit, and typically requires a valid written quote for an identical item bought through the program. Contact us before purchasing if you are unsure whether it applies.

Champions and referrals

Champion status is granted by Buyer's Edge, not self-selected, and may be reviewed or withdrawn. Referral rewards are offered at our discretion, and the tiers, thresholds, and rewards may change. Referrals must be genuine: creating accounts that are not real members, or referring people who did not ask to join, may cost you rewards and your Champion status.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, interfere with it, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Do not scrape, resell, or republish our benefit listings or negotiated pricing.
• Do not share member pricing or access codes with people outside your organization.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful.

Our content

The Buyer's Edge name, logo, site, app, and the way we present our benefits are owned by Buyer's Edge Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. You may use them only as part of using the service as a member. Vendor names and logos belong to those vendors.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but we cannot promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of it, and we may update these terms as the program evolves.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buyer's Edge Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for losses arising out of your dealings with a vendor. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Ending your access

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if your organization's participation ends, or if your membership of that organization ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict of law rules.
